{"id":1,"date":"2011-01-12T11:56:46","date_gmt":"2011-01-12T11:56:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tmansi.net\/?p=1"},"modified":"2021-12-28T15:03:42","modified_gmt":"2021-12-28T20:03:42","slug":"hello-world","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tmansi.net\/index.php\/2011\/01\/hello-world\/","title":{"rendered":"Welcome"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tmansi.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/mybrain.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-170 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tmansi.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/01\/mybrain.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"140\" \/><\/a>I am currently leading the AI\/ML and Digital Health team at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.janssen.com\/janssen-rnd-data-science\">Janssen R&amp;D Data Science<\/a> division, led by Dr. Najat Khan (Chief Data Science Officer and Global Head of R&amp;D Strategy and Operations). Prior to joining Janssen in 2021, I was at Siemens Healthineers, Digital Technology and Innovation, in the team led by <a href=\"https:\/\/comaniciu.net\/\">Dr. Dorin Comaniciu<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>My research focus covers artificial intelligence, medical imaging, computational physiology and biology, and image-guided therapy, with the goal to develop solutions to enable next generation treatments. I graduated in 2010 from <a href=\"https:\/\/team.inria.fr\/epione\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">INRIA Sophia Antipolis,<\/a> France.<\/p>\n<p>When at Siemens Healthineers, the team I was working with won the R&amp;D 100 award for Siemens eSieValves, recognized among the top 100 innovative products of 2015. We had the honor to win the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=gF-WrHfGkkM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2015 NJ Thomas Alva Edison Patent Award<\/a> for our work on personalized simulation of mitral valve interventions, and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=vr4BywaLmCw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">2019 NJ Thomas Edison Patient Award<\/a>, for our work on patient-specific simulation of cardiac electrophysiology. Our research also led to three <a href=\"http:\/\/www.miccai.org\/about-miccai\/awards\/young-scientist-award\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">MICCAI Young Scientists Awards<\/a> in 2011 (Towards Patient-Specific Finite-Element Simulation of Mitral Clip Procedure), 2013 (Fast data-driven calibration of a cardiacelectrophysiology model from images and ECG) and 2018 (Task Driven Generative Modeling for Unsupervised Domain Adaptation: Application to X-ray Image Segmentation).\u00a0I also had the honor to present our work at the prestigious <a href=\"https:\/\/www.college-de-france.fr\/site\/gerard-berry\/symposium-2019-04-23-11h15.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">College de France in Paris in 2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A complete list of my scientific publications can be found on my <a href=\"https:\/\/scholar.google.com\/citations?user=s6pY8JkAAAAJ&amp;hl=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Google Scholar profile<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I am currently leading the AI\/ML and Digital Health team at the Janssen R&amp;D Data Science division, led by Dr. Najat Khan (Chief Data Science Officer and Global Head of R&amp;D Strategy and Operations).
